Spied - 2014 Tata Vista facelift caught testing, again
We have shown you spyshots of upcoming cars while they test on the road, or off the road in some cases and in some instances, while they are filling fuel at a fuel station. These spy images which were clicked by MotorBash reader Rishabh, show the 2014 Tata Vista at a McDonalds outlet in Pune, Maharashtra!
As we have detailed in the past, the refreshed Vista will get significant visual changes at the rear. The characteristic christmas-tree like taillights will give way for a different design such that the lights are clustered below the rear windshield, while the registration plate enclosure will move up from the bumper to the bootlid.
The front of the refreshed Vista is expected to get a new grille inspired by the Tata Manza Hybrid concept shown at the 2012 Auto Expo.
Check out our exhaustive coverage of the 2014 Tata Vista
Under the hood, the refreshed Vista is expected to retain its mechanical package. Tata currently offers a single petrol variant powered by a 1.2-liter engine producing 65 PS and 96 Nm of torque. The BS4 complying diesel variants are powered by Fiat's 1.3-liter MultiJet engine and are available in two states of tunes of 75 PS and 90 PS.
A BS3-spec 1.4-liter TDI engine is also available, and Tata could add its modern BS4 certified 1.4-liter CR4 diesel engine to the existing engine options. We expect the refreshed Vista to be shown at the 2014 Auto Expo in February.
