2016 Honda Civic Coupe - Rendering
Design previewed by Honda Civic Coupe Concept.
Following the launch of the sedan bodystyle this fall, Honda will unveil the 2-door version of the tenth generation 2016 Honda Civic, which was previewed by the Honda Civic Concept from the 2015 New York Auto Show. Courtesy of CivicX, here is an unofficial rendering of the production-spec Honda Civic Coupe.
Like the sedan, the 2-door coupe will feature the the new ‘Flying H’ grille that has a chunky single chrome slat flanked on either side by optional LED headlamps, and a sportier bumper design. The rear-end could get boomerang-shaped tail-lamps, and a subtle spoiler.
Inside, it is likely to feature a design almost identical to its 4-door brother, but feature performance-themed elements to suit its dynamic nature. It could get body hugging sports seats, an updated instrument cluster, driver focused design, and optional Honda Link touchscreen infotainment display in the center console

The Honda Civic Coupe is expected to pack the all-new 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo four-cylinder engine. In the Japanese-spec Honda Jade RS, the same engine produces 148 bhp and 203 Nm. A 2.0-liter engine would be offered as a second option, according to a leaked order guide. Transmission options include a CVT or a six-speed manual transmission for both engines.
Honda is unlikely to bring the new Civic sedan to India, let alone the 2-door Civic Coupe, considering the weak demand in the market for premium mid-size sedans and 2-door coupes.
