KTM Duke 200 uses a 199.5 cc single cylinder mill coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 25 PS of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 19.2 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. The bike does not get ride by wire or slipper clutch and is suspended on upside down forks in the front and a monoshock in the rear, both by WP.

Brakes in the 2017 KTM Duke 200 include a 300 mm disc up front and a 230 mm unit in the rear. ABS is not on offer. The orange backlit instrumentation remains the same, and the headlamp is a halogen unit.
