2018 Hero HF Dawn launched at INR 37,400

Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2018 Hero HF Dawn in the state of Orissa. The bike costs INR 37,400 ex-showroom, Bhubaneshwar. Expect state-wise launch soon.

The motorcycle comes with a side-stand indicator and underseat storage as well.

Hero had discontinued the HF Dawn in May last year. The company has now relaunched the bike with new engine, AHO and other cosmetic updates. The 2018 Hero HF Dawn comes in two colour choices- Black and Red. The tail section, suspension, powertrain, and headlight nacelle are all black. The rims, engine guard, chain cover and the drum brakes are in black as well. The stickers on the tank and side boxes are minimalistic.

Powering the 2018 Honda HF Dawn is a 97.2 cc OHC engine. It generates 8.36 PS of power at 8,000 rpm, and 8.05 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine mates with a 4-speed transmission; and the powertrain sits inside a tubular double cradle frame.

The HF Dawn is one of Hero's most affordable motorcycles.

The front end features telescopic fork, while the rear gets twin hydraulic shock absorbers with two-step adjustability. Brakes include 130 mm front and 110 mm rear drum units. The fuel tank is a 9.5-litre unit, and the bike weighs 105 kg, kerb. The Bajaj CT 100 and TVS Sport are some of the prime rivals for this commuter.
