2019 Hero Glamour Programmed FI with Integrated Braking System revealed [Video]
The 2019 Hero MotoCorp Glamour Programmed FI with Integrated Braking System (iBS – Hero MotoCorp’s combined braking system or CBS) has started to arrive at the dealerships. The motorcycle uses a 124.7 cc engine and thus, complying to the upcoming safety norms, uses a CBS system. Apart from the addition of the iBS, there are no changes to the motorcycle, and it continues to feature the same styling as the standard Glamour Programmed FI.

It, however, does come with new graphics for a refreshed look for 2019. The overall graphic design is slightly different from the one that was seen on the current Hero Glamour Programmed FI. A new 3D Glamour logo on the fuel tank adds a premium look to the overall package. Another noticeable change to the bike is a split, pillion grab rail that replaces the single piece unit on the outgoing version. The front fender gets the iBS branding while the alloy wheels get rim stickers that add a sportier look to the motorcycle.
Interestingly, the YouTube content creator mentions that the motorcycle features a BS-VI compliant motor. We will wait for Hero MotoCorp’s statement before we comment about the engine. For reference, the BS-IV compliant Hero Glamour Programmed FI uses a 124.7cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder, fuel injected engine that delivers 11.5 PS of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 11 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The motor is paired with a four-speed transmission.
Hardware list has remained identical to the outgoing model and thus stopping power comes from a 240mm disc brake at the front and a 130mm drum unit at the rear. The safety net, as mentioned above, is enhanced with iBS that will come as standard. Suspension setup has been carried forward too, and the shock absorbing tasks are performed by conventional telescopic forks at the front and 5-step adjustable hydraulic springs at the rear.
