Paris Live - Dacia Lodgy Stepway (India-bound)

Gets a mild crossover-like look with skid plates and body cladding.

The Dacia Lodgy Stepway is presented at the 2014 Paris Motor Show as an interesting take on the otherwise mundane people carrier. Designers have given the MPV few styling bits which are traditionally associated with crossovers for customers to see it a new light.

The exterior has front and rear skid plates finished in a satin-chrome shade, foglight enclosures with satin-chrome surrounds, black plastic cladding over the sides, a dark finish for the roof rails and wing mirror covers and 16-inch alloy wheels of a different pattern.

The Lodgy Stepway will be available in 5 body colors including an exclusive Azurite Blue shade. Inside, the MPV gets special upholstery with embroidery and blue top stitching. As standard features, Dacia will offer a touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, cruise control and reverse parking sensors.

The Lodgy Stepway can be had with a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine or a 1.5-liter K9K diesel engine. The car is priced between 14,200 Euros (INR 11.03 lakhs) and 16,100 Euros (INR 12.53 lakhs)

The regular Lodgy will launch in India under the Renault brand name early next year.
