Hero Destini becomes India's second-highest selling 125 cc scooter in March 2019
The Hero Destini 125 has delivered promising sales performance in March 2019 and has become the country’s second-highest selling 125 cc scooter.

Hero MotoCorp sold 22,564 units of the Destini 125 in India in March 2019. The Suzuki Access 125 continues leading the sales in the 125 cc scooter space, with 49,875 unit sales last month. Check out the sales performance of the top five 125 cc scooter in the country in the table below:

To give you a quick recap, the Hero Destini 125 comes with Hero’s proprietary i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) technology. The i3S tech stops the engine if the vehicle has come to a standstill for a few seconds. The system is aimed to deliver better fuel efficiency. Hero MotoCorp claims a fuel economy of 51.58 km/l. The scooter uses a 124.6 cc Energy Boost engine that churns out a maximum power of 8.70 bhp at 6,750 rpm and a peak torque of 10.2 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The top speed is rated at 85 km/h.

Key features of the Hero Destini 125 include dual-tone mirrors, semi-digital instrument cluster with service due indicator, remote key opening, tubeless tyres and external fuel filler cap. Mobile charging port and boot light are available as standard on the premium, Vx variant, which is embellished with chrome highlights.
