Hero XPulse Concept makes its global debut at the 2017 EICMA show
Hero MotoCorp has unveiled its off-road friendly motorcycle, the Hero XPulse Concept at the 2017 EICMA show, in Milan, Italy.
The Hero XPulse Concept motorcycle comes with a futuristic-looking circular LED headlamp. One can also see two LED auxiliary lamps on the crash guards. Below the headlamp is the raised front fender. The rear portion of the front wheel gets a tyre-hugging fender as well. The braced handlebars come with knuckle guards, and the seat is a single piece unit. The rider’s footpegs are positioned for easy stand-up riding while going over rough terrains. The fly-screen should help reduce the wind blasts while riding at high speeds. The tail lamp is LED, but the indicators are of bulb type.
Powering the Hero XPulse Concept is a single cylinder engine with air cooling and fuel injection. The high-set exhaust should ensure good water-wading capabilities, if it makes to production. The engine gets a kick starter as well.
The front end features a pair of long-travel telescopic fork with gaiters. The rear comes with a monoshock. The motorcycle rides on spoke wheels, with disc brakes on both ends. The wheels are shod with knobby tyres, and ABS is also present. The concept bike features hard-case side panniers and a tail bag as well. The tail section of the bike comes with a luggage rack too. Expect the production version of the motorcycle to enter our market in late 2018.
