Honda CB250RR rendering based on Honda CBR250RR

Honda CB250RR will be based on the Honda CBR250RR, the most powerful quarter litre in series production.

With the paint beginning to settle on the Honda CBR250RR, a new rendering has been released by Young Machine of its naked version, the Honda CB250RR.

The Honda CB250RR, if introduced, will use the same 249.7 cc parallel twin from the Honda CBR250RR which is capable of producing 38.7 PS of maximum power and 23.3 Nm of peak torque.

The naked street rocket can continue to use the same suspension setup with upside down forks up front and a mono shock in the rear. The fuel tank extension in the rendering of the Honda CB250RR seems to have drawn inspiration from the new 2017 KTM Duke 390.

The Honda CB250RR can use the same steel frame seen in the faired motorcycle. The newly designed frame has balance, rigidity, lightness and durability as its core values. The gull type aluminium swing arm too can be used in a variety of motorcycle styles.

The heart of the bike will be the same 249.7 cc parallel twin mill borrowed from the Honda CBR250RR. In the faired version, coupled to a 6 speed gearbox, the output stands at 38.7 PS of maximum power at 12,500 rpm and 23.3 Nm of peak torque at 11,000 rpm. While Honda has not officially confirmed the Honda CB250RR, if it becomes a reality the output can be expected to remain the same.

The frame and swingarm of the CBR250RR are highly versatile and can fit into a variety of motorcycle styles.

The Honda CB250RR will be competing against the Yamaha MT25 and Kawasaki Z250.
