Honda CBR250RR hits 185 km/h with Ikazuchi TricStar exhaust - Report

The Honda CBR250RR competes against the Yamaha R25 and Kawasaki Ninja 250.

The Honda CBR250RR with an Ikazuchi TricStar exhaust system has been reported to have a top speed of 185 km/h by TMCBlog. In comparison, the stock motorcycle can hit a top speed of 179 km/h on the odometer.

The 249.7 cc parallel twin mill of the Honda CBR250RR is capable of producing 38.7 PS pf maximum power at 23.3 Nm of peak torque.

Powering the Honda CBR250RR is a 249.7 cc parallel twin engine coupled to a six-speed transmission. The engine is capable of producing 38.7 PS at 12,500 rpm and 23.3 Nm at 11,000 rpm. The bike gets three riding modes (Comfort, Sport and Sport+).

The Honda CBR250RR also gets first in class throttle by wire (TBW) system. A rider’s throttle grip operation is measured by an acceleration position sensor unit which has been placed at the left end of the throttle grip. The ECU then judges the output characteristics according to the riding mode selected and instructs the valve opening angle for the throttle body to the throttle by wire motor.

The bike is the most powerful quarter litre available on sale right now and is expected to be joined by a naked model soon.
