More details expected at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.

The highly anticipated Honda CBR250RR is reported by Indonesian website TMCblog to be launching in the first half of the 2016 calendar year in that market. The report also asserts that the sportier replacement of the Honda CBR250R will feature inverted telescopic fork and a swingarm that is cast in aluminium.

The expected price of the CBR250RR in Indonesia is reported to be around IDR 60 million (INR 2.87 lakhs).

The Honda CBR250RR is expected to be previewed by the Honda Light Weight Super Sports concept at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.

Honda recently unveiled the Light Weight Super Sports Concept ahead of its global debut at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show towards the end of this month. This design study, though not officially stated, is believed to preview the physical characteristics of the Honda CBR250RR, as well as some of the upcoming versions of the super sport models in the company's lineup.

The Honda CBR250RR will be a tougher rival to the Yamaha R25 than the Honda CBR250R.

Based on the Light Weight Super Sports Concept, speculative renderings the CBR250RR emerged online, suggesting that the quarter-litre motorcycle will adopt sharp and edgy styling to rival competitors like the Yamaha R25. The renderings also portrayed twin projector headlamps with tiny LED DRLs above each, consistent with the concept.
