Three models expected to launch today.

Hero Motocorp has scheduled a press conference today in New Delhi which will see the launch of the new Hero Achiever 150. Aside from the new Achiever, today's press conference could also witness the launches of the Hero Passion Pro iSmart and Hero Super Splendor iSmart; the former has started arriving at dealerships already.

The new Hero Achiever will get an all-new Hero-developed engine with i3S start-stop technology.

The three models were announced to have their market introductions prior to the festive season by Mr. Pawan Munjal, Chairman and CEO of Hero Motocorp.

All three models are expected to get Hero's i3S automatic start-stop system, which automatically shuts off the engine when idle. Hero is also expected to introduce a new 150 cc engine on the Achiever, which will be a Hero-developed unit. This engine would be introduced on other models as well in the future including the likes of the Hero Xtreme and the Hero Hunk.

The Hero Splendor iSmart 110 marked the launch of Hero's new self-developed engine family, which will slowly be rolled out across other models.
