Hero MotoCorp has teased an off-road motorcycle in an Instagram post. The brand will be showcasing the bike at the 2017 EICMA show held in Milan, Italy, from November 7 to 12, 2017.

The teased motorcycle is likely to be a bigger capacity Impulse.

From the teaser image, it is evident that the motorcycle will be off-road friendly. One can see spoke wheels, front disc brake, and a raised front fender. The shadow reveals the sleek headlamp unit, and it comes with a flyscreen as well. The engine guard is draped in white.

It is likely that the motorcycle is a 200cc variant of the Hero Impulse. Hero MotoCorp has been reportedly working on the motorcycle and will be launching the bike in late 2018. The Hero impulse was launched in October 2011, and in March this year, the bike was taken off the brand’s website. The lack of demand led to the axing of the product. The customer feedback was that the bike needed more power.

The Hero Impulse had excellent off-road manners, and the only let down was its power output.

Expect more details about the upcoming motorcycle at the show. Hero MotoCorp will also be launching the Hero XTreme 200S this financial year. The company is working on a 125cc scooter as well, and will reportedly have classic design lines to take on the Vespa range.
