Sports 32 changes over the older model.

A Renault India spokesperson told Indian Autos Blog that the media activities for the Duster AMT will be held in the second week of March, post which the price announcement will take place. This suggests that the model is scheduled to be launched in the coming weeks, mostly likely by the end of next month.

The exterior of the Duster facelift draws inspiration from its current Brazilian version. The updates include new headlamps, foglamps, taillamps and alloy wheels, among others.

The Renault Duster facelift was premiered at the Auto Expo 2016 last week. It is the first major revision of the model in India, and features an updated styling, refurbished interior, enhanced engine and the addition of a new transmission system - the six-speed Easy-R AMT.

The Easy-R AMT will be an option on the high-end (110 PS) variant.

The new Duster will continue to use the 1.5-litre four-cylinder K9K diesel engine that powers the existing version, but in an improved form for better refinement. The standard gearbox mated to it will also continue to be a six-speed unit. The choice of Easy-R AMT will be offered only on the higher-powered version of the same engine, the 110 PS variant.
