While the overall outline of the headlights is still the same, the Duster now gets daytime running lights and double-optic lenses for the headlamps. The alloy wheels (which are still 16-inches) come in a 'Dark Metal' shade, and the roof rails get a 'Duster' logo embossed on them.

At the rear, the refreshed Duster receives reprofiled taillights, a chrome exhaust tip, and a new font for the 4WD logo. Also available is a new body color termed 'Cometé Grey'.
Renault have upped the safety aspect of the Duster by fitting driver and passenger airbags as standard. Optional features now include a cruise control with a speed limiter device, electronic stability control (ESC) and rear parking sensors.

Unlike the Dacia Duster which received a new 1.2-liter TCe engine option, the refreshed Renault Duster carries forward its existing 1.6-liter petrol engine and 1.5-liter K9K diesel engine which is available in two output states - 85 PS and 110 PS. While the 85 PS receives a 5-speed manual gearbox, the 110 PS variant gets a 6-speed manual transmission.
