Renault Duster RxS variant gains touchscreen unit and airbags

Renault has added new features to the Renault Duster RxS variant in India. With the update, the RxS grade is now more technologically advanced and offers more safety and value.

The Renault Duster RxS gains the 7-inch MediaNAV infotainment system with the latest update.

The Renault Duster RxS now features a touchscreen infotainment system and dual airbags. The former is the 7-inch MediaNAV unit that includes navigation. The Renault Duster RxS is powered by the 1.5-litre dCi turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that develops 85 PS at 3,750 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission and sends power to the front wheels.

104 PS 1.6-litre K4M petrol and 110 PS 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine options, 6-speed manual and 6-speed automated manual transmission options and a four-wheel drive system are available on other grades.

The Renault Duster is currently available in fifteen different configurations. Next month, Renault will expand the SUV's range with the introduction of a petrol automatic model with the 1.6-litre H4K engine and a continuously variable transmission. As of now, the 6-speed automated manual is the only automatic option available, and that is exclusive to the 110 PS 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine.

The Renault Duster will get a new petrol engine with a CVT next month.

Back to the new Renault Duster RxS, Renault has not changed price post the update. It still retails at INR 10.75 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
