Pilipinas Taj Autogroup is the official distributor of Tata vehicles in Philippines.
Tata Motors is present at the 10th Manila International Auto Show with a range of 6 commercial vehicles and 3 passenger cars.
Tata Commercial Vehicles:
The Indian manufacturer is showcasing the Prima truck in two variants. The Prima 4438.S is a tractor head powered by an 8.9-liter 380 hp Cummins diesel engine. The Prima 4038.K (6x4) is a construction tipper powered by the same engine, and features an 18 Cu.M box body with heavy duty Bogie suspension for the rear wheels.
Tata's LCV range is represented by the Ace and Super Ace. The Ace is showcased in two applications: Hopper Tipper and Eutectic Reefer. The former can be used as a dumper for debris, household waste, etc., and features a 1.8 cubic meter capacity. The Reefer on the other hand can be used to transport perishable items for a short distance thanks to its plug-in rechargeable refrigeration body.
The Super Ace was also showcased for a refrigeration application, but it features an engine-powered refrigeration unit, and hence can be used for longer durations. With a 550 kg payload, the Super Ace Reefer Van can maintain temperatures between -23 degrees to +15 degrees Celsius. The sixth CV is the Tata Xenon.
Tata Passenger Cars:
Tata is showcasing the Manza, Vista and Indigo, all three of which are already on sale in Philippines through Tata's distributor, Pilipinas Taj Autogroup. The Indigo was showcased in a Taxi livery highlighting its potential in the commercial segment.
