Tata Hexa to launch in June 2016 - Report
To replace the Tata Aria.
NDTV Auto reports that the Tata Hexa will launch in June 2016 as a replacement to the Tata Aria. The publication adds that the next product to be launched by the company after the Hexa will be the Tata Nexon and that it will be introduced during the festive season this year.
The Tata Hexa was previewed as a concept at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Its production version made its debut at the Auto Expo 2016. The SUV measures 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, 1,780 mm in height and 2,850 mm in wheelbase. It features projector headlamps, LED DRLs, mirror caps with turn indicators, machine-cut 19-inch alloy wheels, lower-body cladding, LED taillamps and twin exhaust pipes.

The Hexa will be offered with the familiar 2.2-litre VariCOR 400 diesel engine that is expected to be tuned to 156 PS of maximum power and 400 Nm of peak torque. It will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission as standard and a six-speed automatic as an option.
