Tata Hexa spotted sans camouflage in Mumbai - Spied
Powered by a 2.2L diesel engine.
The Tata Hexa has been spotted testing near Colaba, Mumbai, without camouflage, courtesy of MyNewCar.
The Hexa was unveiled in production-spec guise at the Auto Expo 2016. Based on the outgoing Tata Aria's platform, the Hexa measures 4,764 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width and 1,780 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. It adopts a rugged exterior design with black plastic bumpers and side sills, and is equipped with projector headlamps, signature LED DRLs and dual exhaust tailpipes.
Inside, it will be the most feature-packed Tata yet, with equipment such as ESP (electronic stability program), projector headlamps with auto function, taillamps with LED position lamps, large alloy wheels, 6-seat configuration with captain seats, leather upholstery with twin-needle stitching, mood lighting and 6 airbags.

Under the hood is a 2.2-litre VARICOR diesel engine capable of producing 156 PS and 400 Nm of torque. It is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, while a 6-speed automatic was seen in the Hexa Tuff at the Auto Expo 2016. It will be fitted with a Drive Mode selector that offers four driving modes: Automatic, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough-Road.
