The Hexa Tuff is a personalised SUV that is marketed to be designed for “active lifestyle seekers” and off-road enthusiasts. Compared to the standard version, the Hexa Tuff has additional features such as a muscular body kit, a cycle carrier at the rear end that can hold upto three bicycles, 3D floor mats in the cabin, intelligent Head Up Display (HUD), Navigation system and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

It is to be noted that the Hexa Tuff presented at the Auto Expo had the six-speed automatic transmission that will be offered on the production version and that it did not feature the Drive Mode Selector that the production-Hexa features. The unit showcased in Geneva had the six-speed manual transmission and the Drive Mode Selector.

The manual variant of the Tata Hexa/Tata Hexa Tuff gets a Drive Mode Selector but the automatic variant does not.
