Tata Kite 5 compact sedan spied in new color without camouflage
Reported to launch in November.
A production-spec Tata Kite 5 compact sedan has been spotted in a new blue exterior color sans camouflage by the Tata Vista group on Facebook. It is reported to launch in November during the festive season.
Unveiled as a near-production model at the Auto Expo 2016, the Tata Kite 5 measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,647 mm in width, 1,535 mm in height and 2,450 mm in wheelbase. The exterior design and alloy wheels are sourced from the Tata Tiago, save for the stubby boot and wraparound taillamps.
The interior design and features will also be taken from the Tata Tiago's parts bin, and could see a 5-inch entertainment system paired to an 8-speaker audio system and GPS-guided navigation, as seen in the show car at the Auto Expo. The KITE 5 will have a class-leading boot capacity of 420 liters.

Engine lineup will include a 1.2L three cylinder Revotron engine with 83 bhp/114 Nm of torque and 1.05L Revotorq diesel engine with 69 bhp/140Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox will be the standard offering, while an AMT option could be introduced at launch.
