Tata Nexon AMT now available in XMA, prices start at INR 7.50 lakh
The Tata Nexon AMT is now available in a new XMA grade that costs INR 7.50 lakh* onwards. Along with the XMA grade, Tata Motors has announced a new Ivory White roof colour option.
The Tata Nexon AMT was initially available in only the XZA+ grade with a starting price of INR 9.41 lakh*. IAB had reported in May that Tata Motors would soon introduce the AMT variant in a more affordable’ XMA’ grade to lower the entry-price.
The Tata Nexon XMA is the feature equivalent of the Tata Nexon XM. Electrically adjustable ORVMs, LED tail lamps, wheel covers, ConnectNext infotainment system by Harman, four speakers, steering-mounted audio, phone and voice controls, remote central locking, front and rear power windows and electric tailgate opening form its equipment highlights.
Follow-me-home lamps, speed-sensing auto door locks, dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors are the key safety features of the XMA grade. The AMT variant-exclusive creep function and the kick-down, fast-off and anti-stall features are included in the XMA grade.
The Tata Nexon XMA is offered with the same 1.2-litre Revotron petrol and 1.5-litre Revotorq diesel engines as the Tata Nexon XZA+. The turbocharged petrol engine develops 110 PS and 170 Nm of torque. The turbocharged diesel engine produces 110 PS and 260 Nm of torque. Both are coupled to a 6-speed automated manual transmission.

The Tata Nexon XMA petrol costs INR 7.50 lakh*, while the Tata Nexon XMA diesel retails at INR 8.53 lakh*.
