Tata Nexon Kraz edition starts reaching dealerships [Update]

On 5 September, Tata Motors launched a limited edition of the Nexon. The Tata Nexon Kraz (pronounced 'craze') is the latest special edition of the compact SUV that celebrates the model's first-year anniversary in the market. A batch of images from Redline Driver of TATA NEXON Owner's Group on Facebook shows that the special edition has started reaching the dealerships.
The Kraz available in petrol and diesel engine variants and goes on sale in two trim levels - Kraz and Kraz+. The limited-run model features a handful of styling updates that give it a distinct identity. It's available only in a TROMSO BLACK paint with a grey roof. There are several 'neo-green' highlights around the body, including on the grille, the wheel caps, and the ORVMs. The rear carries a 'Kraz' badge in the same colour.

The interior features the new-green highlights around the central AC vents. The cabin has a grey & black colour theme with the seat upholstery featuring neon stitching. The dashboard sports a piano black trim and has a 'Kraz' badge near the auto aircon controls. The Tata Nexon Kraz edition is based on the XM trim. Other than the styling updates, it offers features like a Harman-sourced 4-speaker infotainment system, Bluetooth, steering mounted controls, automatic climate control with rear air vents, electrically adjustable and foldable mirrors, reverse parking sensors, dual front airbags, and ABS.

Specifications remain completely unchanged. The petrol variant is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged engine that produces 110 bhp and 170 Nm. The diesel version has a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged unit that outputs 110 bhp and 260 Nm. Both the engines come mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Kraz edition misses out on the optional 6-speed AMT.
