Made-in-India Tata Nexon & Tata Hexa launched in Tanzania
Tata Motors, along with its distributor, Tata Africa Holdings (Tanzania) Limited (TAHTL), has launched the Tata Nexon and the Tata Hexa in Tanzania.
The Tata Nexon has been launched at an introductory price of TZS 45 million (INR 14.32 lakh), while the Tata Hexa costs TZS 81 million (INR 25.78 lakh) for the XT 4x4 and TZS 89 million (INR 28.33 lakh) for the XTA variants, respectively. The new models are available with attractive finance options at all Tata Motors dealerships across the country.
Speaking on the introduction of the Tata Nexon and the Tata Hexa in Tanzanian car market, Mr Sujan Roy, Head – International Business, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors said:

The gasoline-sipping Tata Nexon is powered by a 1.2-litre REVOTRON turbo-petrol engine that outputs a maximum power of 110 PS and a peak torque of 170 Nm. The diesel version is propelled by a 1.5-litre REVOTORQ diesel motor that outputs 110 PS and 260 Nm. Transmission options for both the engines include a 6-speed manual and a six-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
The Tata Hexa is powered by a 2.2-litre Varicor 400 turbo-diesel motor that produces 156 PS and 400 Nm. The XTA variant features a six-speed automatic transmission, whereas the XT 4x4 model is equipped with a six-speed manual unit. The passenger vehicle lineup by Tata Africa Holdings consists the Tiago, Tigor, Bolt, Zest, Nexon, Storme, and Hexa.
