Will be launched in H2 2017.

As Tata Motors continues development of the Tata Nexon in India, a test mule has been spied yet again, courtesy carwale. One of the spy shots shows the future model's interior.

The rotary terrain management nob has been moved back, while the free-standing display is absent on this mule.

The production Tata Nexon's interior is nearly unchanged from the car showcased at Auto Expo 2016. The steering wheel is the same, while the instrument cluster gauges seem to have received a brushed aluminium finish. The dashboard almost entirely covered; the exposed HVAC vents and centre console show no changes.

The only noteworthy change is the rotary knob for terrain management system moved back on the central tunnel. There should be a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system on top-end Tata Nexon variants.

The Tata Nexon will be available with 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol and 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engines. It will follow after the Hexa, Kite 5 and Tiago AMT.

The Tata Nexon will be available in petrol and diesel models. The petrol model will be powered by a turbocharged version of the Tata Tiago's 1.2-litre Revotron three-cylinder unit. The diesel model has been confirmed as a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine good for 110 PS and 260 Nm of torque. There will be a 6-speed manual transmission delivering power to the front wheels. Besides the terrain options, the driver will be able to select from three engine driving modes: City, Eco and Sports.
