Tata Safari Storme facelift - IAB Rendering

Expected to launch in mid 2015.

The Tata Safari Storme has been in the market for about two years now, and Tata Motors is readying a mild facelift for the vehicle, which is expected to launch in mid-2015. And to give you a glimpse of how the Storme facelift is going to look like, here is Shoeb Kalania's rendering based on spyshots.

The upcoming Tata Safari Storme facelift could use a slightly more powerful version of the current 2.2-litre diesel engine.

The front-end appears to have received subtle changes that include a new honeycomb radiator grille and a similar treatment for the airdam. The headlamps, bumper, and the chrome strip above the grille remain unchanged.

Moving on to the interior, the vehicle is expected to get a new touchscreen infotainment system and better plastics for the dashboard. The jump-seats will make way for a front-facing third row, while the second row can get comfier captain seats, on the top-spec version, says an earlier report.

The changes on the Safari Storme faclelift are expected to be subtle. Pictured here is the current version of the vehicle.

Like now, it will be available with a 5-speed manual gearbox, and an automatic transmission (showcased on the Aria at the Indonesian Motor Show) can be added to the range at a later stage.
