Nepal - Tata Motors launches Safari Storme at 37.85 lakh Nepalese rupees

Tata Motors today launched the Tata Safari Storme in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The Storme will be exported from India and sold in Nepal through Sipradi Trading Private Ltd (STPL). Sipradi is the exclusive distributor of Tata Motors products in Nepal since 1982. The company sells and services the full range of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles.

The Storme for Nepal is powered by the same 2.2-liter VariCOR engine producing 140PS and 320Nm of torque. 0-100km/h takes a claimed 15 seconds while the fuel efficiency is rated at 14km/l for the 4x2 and 13.2km/l for the 4x4.

Prices for the Storme in Nepal start at NPR 37.85 lakhs (INR 23.74 lakhs). There are three variants available - LX, VX and VX 4x4. The Storme will be available in six exterior color choices (Nepal does not get the Arctic White color) and a 2 year/75,000km warranty is being offered on the vehicle that will be retailed in all 12 dealerships.

Storme has been launched in 2WD and 4WD trims. It will be retailed across 12 stores in Nepal.
