Only a few days back it was revealed that that the rumoured Toyota Rise is going to be known as the 'Toyota Raize' and its exterior was leaked. The sub-compact SUV based on the Daihatsu Rocky will have its world premiere done in early-November 2019. Now, its interior images have leaked online, courtesy Creative311.

The Toyota Raize carries over the same cabin from its counterpart, Daihatsu Rocky.

As already known, the upcoming Toyota Raize is going to share its body panels, underpinnings and engine with the Daihatsu Rocky on which it is based. Also what's worth noticing is that both the SUVs are also going to have the same interior design. From the dashboard layout with a floating 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system placed above the centre console to the horizontally placed air vents, digital driver's display and even the seat upholstery, all the details have been carried over to the Raize from its donor vehicle. The only difference between on the inside is the brand logo placed on the steering wheel. The boot capacity of the Toyota Raize stands at 369 litres.

The Toyota Raize is mainly differentiated from the Daihatsu Rocky with its unique exterior. The former looks a bit more premium and stylish. The Toyota Raize comes with the signature Toyota styled large trapezoidal grille comprising mesh inserts. The design of the front-end is reminiscent of the Toyota RAV4. Above it sits a high-set Toyota logo, and the grille is flanked by headlamps which look similar to the one found on its counterpart. On the sides, it gets 17-inch alloy wheels featuring a different design.

As for the mechanicals, the Toyota Raize is powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder, 12-valve turbo-petrol engine which is known to deliver 98 PS of maximum power at 6,000 rpm and 140.2 Nm of torque at 2,400-4,000 rpm. The engine will be paired with a CVT as standard initially, but a 6-speed MT option will be introduced in the future.
