Features a 321 cc in-line twin-cylinder engine.
According to import and export tracking website of India, zauba.com, the Japanese company has imported two units of the Yamaha R3 motorcycle for R&D purposes.
Unveiled in October last year, the R3 had its public premiere at the EICMA 2014 in Milan Italy. The R3 houses a 321 cc in-line two-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 42 PS of power and 29.6 Nm of torque, transferred to the road via a six-speed transmission.
The R3 uses technology that's been derived from racing, such as, direct drive camshaft, carburized conrods, forged pistons and low friction pistons. All these help the R3 in putting out some serious performance in its class.
